“When it is raining, we often realize that the sound of raindrops is very destressing, and we experience a sudden mood uplift.
This time around, the city is not experiencing average rainfall. However, we had a very narrow opportunity to capture some heavy downpour, the recording was not pre-planned and it was set up in hurry ignoring the fact that the canopy on the window will sound with the rain also.
Location of filming: Ideal Hills in Jabalpur, M.P. India.
Equipment/software used: tripod, iPhone 17 pro, video captured in prores/HDR, Resolution/2.8K, Frame rate/30 using inbuilt omni-directional mics in stereo mode, i movie used for editing.
